I ‘m offering individual and group classes in New Orleans.-

The teachings will be oriented towards gradual but steady progress.

Each class is a unique sequence to guide students through a safe and systematic progression.

Through skilled instruction and practice, students will learn to penetrate beyond the physical body to the inner layers of mind, energy and spirit, gaining vitality, clarity and calm through the practice.

We’ll be using props to maximize the opening and awareness of the body, providing support to the less flexible, and extra extension to the more advanced student.

Iyengar Yoga is a powerful discipline, which can be practiced in all stages of life. The benefits are far-reaching and will assist the practitioner in every aspect of daily living.

I’m originally from Argentina, moved to New Orleans via Los Angeles in 2012. I worked in the film industry for two decades, which took me all over the world. I also began exploring various traditions of yoga in 1995 and became devoted to the Iyengar tradition in 2008. While working on a film in New Olreans in 2012, I met my husband and have deepened my commitment to studying and teaching Iyengar yoga while settling into the New Orleans community. My primary teachers are Becky Lloyd, Randy Just, Heide Grace, and Gabriela Giubilaro. I have been an active participant in the teacher training program with Randy since 2014. I work with ceramics in partnership with my husband creating living sculptures (planters) and functional pieces. I find that the practice of yoga and working with clay helps me to achieve stability, flexibility and contentment within my life.

I became a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher in 2017, Level intro 1 & 2, and continue to study.
